The new Media Relations website is now live. This is the first administrative site released by our department based on the templates I created. It incorporates top level tools, text-resizing, accessibility accesskeys, vcards for contacts, form submissions, language switching, a thumbnail generator and more. I worked closesly with Media Relations, and the IT department to create the site's experts database, hot topics database, and featured researcher system.
The work we're doing at the university is featured in this week's issue of the Concordia Journal. Read the articles about the top-level site and the Media Relations site based on the new templates. My part of the project has been that I designed, for the most part, the layout, developed the HTML, CSS and scripts of the top-level site and templates, as well as help interpret the new Concordia brand for use on the web and help produce the standards and guideline manuals.
